When is a vaper chamber used up?

When is a vaper chamber used up?

I’ve been experimenting with vaping off and on for about a year to see if it helps me sleep. I am 50 years old and occasionally smoked in my 20s and 30s when someone offered me a joint, but didn’t do it very much and never experimented with anything beyond that. I have a Utillian 420. However, I’ve never been clear about how to know when the bud in my vaper is “done,” because I can’t see it burning up like a joint does. The instructions explain how to clean it and run it but not really how to use it. Does one heat cycle completely use up a full chamber? Or should I be able to tell by detecting something in the taste or body? Or should I open it up and look at what’s there? Thank you!
