Often, I get an error message that says "Connection lost" why is this?

The only way I clear it is to uninstall/ reinstall the app. I’d argue that my smart phone isn’t very smart at all. There’s also the technology gremlins…

Is this normal or a glitch? Mostly just a pain in the butt.
