Getting cross province prescriptions/laws and policies

This is a question that has come to my attention recently, especially since one of the doctors in a cannabis clinic in my home city of Saskatoon was recently found to not have been properly licensed to be prescribing here and many places do not have prescribing docs so I refer people to cannabis clinics out of SK. There are very few cannabis clinics in SK (I don’t know if there are any at the moment). Is it actually legal for people in one province in Canada to get a prescription from a cannabis clinic doc in a different province? We have been doing this as patients, but I don’t understand the laws and College of Physicians and Surgeons rules around this.
